Notion Integration Terms of Service Addendum

This addendum governs your use of Applify's Notion integration feature and supplements our main Terms of Service.
Acceptance of Terms
By connecting your Applify account to Notion, you agree to:

- Notion's Terms of Service and API Terms
- Our main Terms of Service
Service Description
Notion Integration Features:
- Direct Export: Export career growth plans, journey items, and milestones directly to your Notion workspace
- OAuth Authorization: Secure connection between your Applify and Notion accounts
- Workspace Management: View and manage your connected Notion workspace
Service Limitations:
- Integration is subject to Notion's API rate limits and availability
- Export formats are optimized for Notion but may not preserve all formatting
- We cannot guarantee compatibility with future Notion API changes
Your Responsibilities
Notion Account Requirements:
- You must have a valid Notion account in good standing
- You must have appropriate permissions in the target Notion workspace
- You are responsible for managing your Notion workspace settings and permissions
Data Management:
- You are responsible for reviewing exported data in Notion
- You should backup important data before using the integration
- You must comply with your organization's data governance policies when exporting to shared workspaces
Appropriate Use:
- Only export data you own or have permission to export
- Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or API restrictions
- Do not use the integration for bulk data migration beyond personal career data
Service Availability
Uptime and Reliability:
- We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
- Integration functionality depends on both Applify and Notion services
- Maintenance windows may temporarily disable the integration
API Dependencies:
- Our integration relies on Notion's public API
- Changes to Notion's API may affect integration functionality
- We'll make reasonable efforts to adapt to API changes but cannot guarantee continued compatibility
Data and Privacy
Data Processing:
- We process your data solely to provide the integration service
- Data transmission occurs directly between our servers and Notion's API
- We do not store copies of exported content
Workspace Responsibility:
- You are responsible for data exported to your Notion workspace
- Workspace members may have access to exported data based on Notion's permissions
- We recommend reviewing workspace access before exporting sensitive information
Intellectual Property
Your Content:
- You retain all rights to your career growth data
- By exporting to Notion, you grant Notion the rights specified in their Terms of Service
- We claim no ownership over exported content
Integration Technology:
- Applify owns the integration software and related intellectual property
- You receive a limited license to use the integration as part of your Applify subscription
Limitation of Liability
Integration-Specific Limitations:
- We are not responsible for data loss or corruption in Notion
- We cannot be held liable for Notion service outages or API changes
- Our liability is limited to the portion of your subscription fee attributable to the integration feature
Third-Party Services:
- Notion is a third-party service outside our control
- We make no warranties about Notion's service quality or availability
- Any issues with Notion's service should be directed to Notion's support
Termination
Disconnection Rights:
- You may disconnect the integration at any time without penalty
- Disconnecting does not affect data already exported to Notion
- We may disable the integration if you violate these terms
Service Changes:
- We may modify or discontinue the integration with reasonable notice
- If we discontinue the service, we'll provide at least 30 days notice
- Alternative export methods will remain available
Compliance and Security
Security Standards:
- We implement industry-standard security measures
- All connections use OAuth 2.0 for secure authorization
- Access tokens are encrypted and stored securely
Compliance:
- You must use the integration in compliance with all applicable laws
- If you're in a regulated industry, ensure exports comply with your regulatory requirements
- We'll cooperate with legitimate legal requests regarding integration usage
Support and Troubleshooting
Support Scope:
- We provide support for integration setup and basic troubleshooting
- Notion-specific issues should be directed to Notion's support team
- We'll make reasonable efforts to resolve compatibility issues
Known Limitations:
- Large exports may take time due to API rate limits
- Complex formatting may not transfer perfectly to Notion
- Some Applify features may not have Notion equivalents
Changes to These Terms
Notification Process:
- We'll notify you of material changes via email and in-app notifications
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- You may disconnect if you disagree with changes
API Changes:
- We may need to modify the integration due to Notion API changes
- We'll provide notice when possible but may need to make emergency changes
- Such changes are considered maintenance, not terms modifications
Governing Law and Disputes
These additional terms are governed by the same laws and dispute resolution procedures as our main Terms of Service.

- Integration: The Notion export feature and related services

This addendum is part of Applify's Terms of Service. In case of conflicts between this addendum and the main Terms of Service, this addendum takes precedence for Notion integration matters.
By using the Notion integration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these additional terms.
